PROJECT 1 - PROPOSAL
Week 1 - Week 3

We were instructed to form a team of six people and collaborate as a team to complete tasks during this module. In addition, no more than three members may enroll in the same semester, which took us some time to find group members. In the end, I formed the final group with Azim Azariff, Li Yanxi, Chen Nan, Nadhrah and Myra. Project 01, we aimed to develop a proposal around the overarching theme of “Cultural Sensitivity in Design”. We had a group discussion via WhatsApp. After discussion, we decided to study: the color design of Chinese culture-red, yellow, and white. We first need to create a Google Slides describing our proposal. Me, Chen Nan and Li Yanxi took on the task of creating the slides, while Azim Azariff, Nadhrah and Myra sketched out the recordings and ideas for post-production.

PROJECT 2 - FIELD STUDY 

Week 4 - Week 5

The data collection methods used by our group:
We chose two methods:
1. Field investigation.
2. Interview.
3. Research online

In addition to finding our Chinese acquaintances for interviews, Ye Xinyan, Li Yanxi, and I drove to the Chinese Museum for field study.
The slides were made by Azariff, Myra, and Nadhrah.

Based on our ideas, I, LiYanxi and ChenNan used online communication to interview three Chinese people about their views and feelings on different colors.

We chose to use posters in this project because we needed to make our ideas come to life. Three posters were created for the three colors.

Reflection

Our group took a considerable amount of time at the start of the semester to develop the project plan and labour allocation. We make sure that everyone is aware of their jobs and responsibilities by having open dialogues and team discussions about them. This makes it possible for us to use each team member's talents and competencies to efficiently accomplish follow-up duties.Our semester-long focus is on communication and teamwork. We had meetings set up by the team leader so that we could discuss ideas and progress.

For our group, this semester has been very rewarding. By working together, communicating and being creative, we overcame several challenges and achieved great results. We are keen to continue working together in the future and continue to develop our skills and output.
