Lecture Report

Foreground: A person or thing near the leading edge or in front of the subject in a shot. In the lens of the picture, it is used to foil the subject, or form part of the dramatic environment, and enhance the spatial depth of the picture, balance the composition and beautify the picture.

Middle shot: The part in the middle of the picture. Generally the subject will appear in the middle or in front of the middle.

Background:A person or thing near the rear or behind the subject in a shot. In the shot picture, sometimes as the main body of performance or accompany, but mostly as a part of the dramatic environment, sometimes directly constitute the background.

Foreground, middle and back scenes are the basic levels of photographic composition, which can make the picture rich in hierarchy and depth. Some pictures have been divided into more detailed levels, such as many picture compositions in Spielberg's Saving Private Ryan, which can reach seven or eight levels.

Foreground
In this scene the table nearest to the observer is in the foreground.

Middle shot
The middle shot is the second closest to the viewer, our main characters Jack and Judy.

Background
The background is the most likely composition to be blurred, this will better set off the foreground and medium shots.

Lecture Report 5

One-point perspective:One-point perspective is also called parallel perspective, because in the structure of perspective, there is only one perspective vanishing point, and no extended lines are parallel to each other, so it is called one-point perspective.
Two-point perspective:If there are two central points in a frame, and both points are at eye level, the resulting perspective is called two-point perspective.
Three-point perspective:If there are three central points in the picture, two of which are horizontal, the resulting perspective is called three-point perspective.
