Exercise 2
Exercise1:
For the first design I used the concept of balance.
Design principle:The scale in the first picture was my inspiration. It reminds me of left and right equal, left and right symmetric. When I was designing this work, I had thought about whether to use the candle. In the end I put the candle on it, for I felt that the candle was like a support in the scale, like the vertical pole that held the scale in balance. My design philosophy is to have left and right symmetry. And it has a support point.
- Improvement:The original scale of my work had too much white space below it so I didn't focus on the candles. Later, I adjusted the proportions of my images.
- Feedback:I adjusted the scale and added my inspiration.
- introspection:The details of the burger should be enhanced.
I ended up using the hamburger as the idea of balance and the candle was the only thing holding the balance together
Exercise2:
For the second design, I used a repetition design concept.
- Design principle:My inspiration for the design is this picture and it's shaped like the roof of a house. It's layered on top of each other and it's a repetitive design. This reminds me of a bud, which is also layered, so I came up with the idea of designing a bud. To echo this theme, I used the same shape for the leaves and petals of the flower. My design philosophy is one layer on top of another.

- Improvement:I removed the original flowerpot to emphasize my repetitive design philosophy.
- Feedback:I eliminated unnecessary designs. And he made the leaves and the buds thereof. Same design philosophy.
- introspection:I should add more layers of petals.
I ended up putting the repetitive design on the petals so that I didn't feel out of place.
